  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 500 g mussels, cleaned and debearded

  • 2 whole sweet peppers, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the sliced sweet peppers and cook for 5 minutes until they begin to soften.
  4. If using, pour in the white wine and let it simmer for 2 minutes.
  5. Add the cleaned mussels to the pot, cover, and cook for 5-7 minutes until the mussels open.
  6. Discard any mussels that do not open and serve the dish hot.
